Buhari to commission Kano power project, others

During his two-day visit to the Kano state on January 30 and 31, 2023, President Muhammadu Buhari will officially unveil the Kano State Independent Power Project.
The All Progressives Congress’s governorship campaign committee’s spokesperson and the state’s commissioner for information, Mohamed Garba, revealed this while describing to reporters the committee’s efforts to ensure the party’s triumph in the 2023 elections.
According to Garba, “The 10 megawatts IPP would power street lights, Industries, water supply projects, and other critical sectors.”
Garba also revealed that during Buhari’s two-day visit, he would commission a number of projects.
These projects include the Muhammadu Bridge, the Tiga Dam, the Teachers Reserved Housing Area in Ungogo Local Government Area, the Dala Inland Port, a data center at the Dangote Skills Acquisition Center, and the Teachers Reserved Housing Area.
