Sacked chairman of the disciplinary committee of the Park Management System, PMS, in Oyo State, Alhaji Mukaila Lamidi has said the police cannot declare him wanted.
Mukaila Lamidi spoke in a telephone conversation on Saturday, on a weekly political programme aired on an Ibadan based Radio station, Fresh FM, Political Circuit.
“When I’m not a fool, how could I have hidden or stockpiled those weapons at my residence?” Lamidi said.
Better known as Auxiliary, Lamidi who was yesterday declared wanted by the police for alleged gun-running, said ‘Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, is his destiny helper.
Adding that he is committed to peace, he said he would abide by whatever decision the governor take on transport unions.
The Punch Metro had published that the embattled PMS head was removed by the governor of the state, Seyi Makinde on Monday, 29th of May.
Following his removal violence had erupted in some parts of the state capital, Ibadan.
