The Osun State police Command on Tuesday said more men had been deployed to Ilesa to halt the current spate of killings in the town.
This according to the spokesperson of the command, Yemisi Opadola is due to a recent clash by cultist in Ilesa which led to the death of two men.
She said “More men have been deployed to the community but you know police operatives can’t be everywhere.
“Two men were killed today again but we are not relenting. Perpetrators of the crime won’t escape justice,” Opalola said.
Perceived inter-cult rivalry may have claimed another set of casualties following the killing of two men, whose identities were not available yet at Sabo/Irojo junction on Tuesday.
