No fewer than 11 persons were burnt to death by terrorists in Chisu village in Mangu Local Government of Plateau State.
A source disclosed that the victims, who thought of seeking safety in a house as bandits attacked the community were trailed and burnt together with the house.
A resident of Chisu community who escaped the attack, Michael Bulus, said that the incident occurred Tuesday night.
“The terrorists also burnt a church along Mangu-Bokkos Road and other properties before making their escape,” Bulus added.
According to Daily Post, the COCIN Regional Church Council Bwai along Mangu Bokkos road in the local government was also burnt by the terrorists along with other houses, vehicles, and tricycles before they fled the community.
However, the state police spokesman, Alabo Alfred did not take his call for confirmation as at the time of filing the report.
A source hinted that security operatives have been mobilized to the affected area.
