13 passengers aboard a 14-seater commercial bus have been burnt to death in a fatal accident which happened at the Enugu end of the Enugu-Port Hacourt Expressway, leaving only one survivor.
The bus was said to be traveling from Imo State to Adamawa by 9pm on Sunday night, and reportedly ran into a trailer before bursting into flames.
All the passengers but one, were confirmed burnt beyond recorgnition in the accident.
With information about his escape unconfirmed, it is safe to say the passenger was saved by the skin of the teeth.
According to the Telegraph, the lone survivor, is currently receiving treatment at the Emmergency Unit of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Ituku-Ozalla.
