Sixteen of the invited players for Super Eagle’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe have arrived Uyo, Akwa Ibom State on Tuesday.
The team’s Four Points hotel base in Uyo was lively on Tuesday afternoon as the arrival of the sixteen player increased the number to 22.
Six players came into the camp on Monday.
Bendel Insurance goalkeeper, Amas Obasogie is still being expected in camp.
Obasogie took the place of injured Udinese of Italy shot stopper, Maduka Okoye in the team.
The Super Eagles will have two training sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday before its clash against Lesotho on Thursday.
The encounter against the Likuena is billed for the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Jose Peseiro’s side will also lock horns with the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Huye Stadium, Butare, on Sunday.
