The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday launched 13 projects in eight Local Government Areas of the state.
Sanwo-Olu made this known through his official Twitter account where he tweeted, “Today, I had the honour of commissioning 13 vital projects across Lagos, delivering on our promise to bring progress and prosperity to the people.
“From schools to jetties, medical facilities to roads, these projects will transform lives and build a Greater Lagos.”
The projects’ inauguration was a continuation of the “A Greater Lagos Rising” vision and was part of an 11-day celebration of Governor Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, in their first term of office.
The School of Basic Medical Science Block, 120 Bed MCC (SDG Building), Ambulance Bay, Special Services Centre House Officers’ Quarters and completely renovated Mba-Cardoso Street, Ajegunle were among the projects that were launched.
The unveiling of the newly installed Heidelberg Speedmaster CX 104-5+LX machine at Lagos State Printing Corporation, Ikeja, and Akesan Obadore Road, Alimosho, are a few more.
Marina and Isaju-Ajido in Badagry, as well as Ilashe and Ijegun-Egba in Amuwo-Odofin, had jetties built with waiting shelters and coastline protection installed.
Other facilities that were opened include the Primary Healthcare Centre, Ijedodo in Iba LCDA, Ojo, the Ijaiye Ojokoro Senior High School in Ifako Ijaiye, and the Government Girls Senior College in Agege.
