Manchester United winger Antony is set to resume training and be eligible for selection as he continues to cooperate with police investigations into allegations of violence towards women, the club announced on Friday.
The Brazilian international, who vehemently denies the accusations, was granted a leave of absence by United on September 10.
After returning to England earlier this week, Antony voluntarily participated in an interview with Greater Manchester Police on Thursday.
United has confirmed that the 23-year-old will rejoin training, with the intention of making a comeback to Erik ten Hag’s squad.
However, he will not be part of Saturday’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace.
“Since allegations were first made in June, Antony has cooperated with police inquiries in both Brazil and the UK, and he continues to do so,” a United statement read.
“As Antony’s employer, Manchester United has decided that he will resume training at Carrington, and be available for selection, while police inquiries proceed.
“This will be kept under review pending further developments in the case.
“As a club, we condemn acts of violence and abuse. We recognise the importance of safeguarding all those involved in this situation, and acknowledge the impact these allegations have on survivors of abuse.”
According to statements made by Gabriela Cavallin to Brazilian media earlier this month, Antony is being accused of physically abusing her on multiple occasions.
This winger has also been accused of assault by two other women, all of which he has denied.
He has not been detained or charged in Brazil or the United Kingdom, and he was free to leave the interview when he voluntarily provided evidence to back up his vehement denials.
