Katsina State Police Command has apprehended over 50 individuals suspected of instigating violence during a recent protest.
Addressing journalists on Thursday, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Abubakar Sadiq, assured that the situation is now under control and the state remains relatively calm.
“No loss of life was recorded, however, 50 suspected miscreants/hoodlums were arrested,” Sadiq confirmed.
He further mentioned that investigations are ongoing and that security measures have been strengthened to prevent further incidents.
