The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ọjájá II, paid a courtesy visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday in Daura, Katsina State.
The visit was disclosed by a former media aide to the ex-president, Ahmad Bashir, who shared photos of the meeting on X.
During the visit, the Ooni and his entourage, accompanied by Buhari, also stopped by the historic Daura Emir’s Palace.
Sharing the update, Bashir wrote, “Today, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ọjájá II), was in Daura with his entourage to visit former President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Before leaving Daura, the former president led the Ooni of Ife and his entourage to the historic Daura Emir’s Palace.”
