Ghanaian artist, Michael Owusu Addo, better known as Sarkodie has broken the silence on the abortion saga between him and his estranged girlfriend, Yvonne Nelson.
Recall that actress Yvonne Nelson had accused Sakordie of impregnating her and asked her to abort the pregnancy.
In a book she recently published, the actress explained that she, without a father could not imagine how she would take care of a child whose father has refused to take responsibility.
In a chapter titled ‘A Difficult Decision’, she said Sarkodie “said no to keeping the pregnancy.”
However, the music star has refuted the claim, as he coded it in a single, ‘Try Me [Raw]’, released on Wednesday.
He claimed to have asked Yvonne Nelson to keep the pregnancy even though he was not ready to be the father.
“Yes, I wasn’t ready but then I told you to keep it. So don’t make it seem like I was pushing you for abortion,” he raps in the first verse of the song.
He further revealed that the actress’ book was not so great but it only got patronage based on the negative content it carried.
“Not because your book is really good but we are living in a world where negativity sells,” Sarkodie raps, adding that “nobody is the cause of your bad choice in life”, and she should “stop the personal attacks.”
