The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has congratulated Muslims on the ocassion of the Islamic New Year 1445 AH celebration on Wednesday, July 19.
He also urged Muslims to rededicate themselves to the worship of Allah, praying for the continuous peace and unity in the country.
Abbas sent his congratulatory message in a statement issued on Wednesday via his Twitter handle.
He wrote, “The Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, PhD congratulates Muslims and indeed Nigerians on the Islamic New Year 1445 AH, urges Muslims to rededicate themselves to the worship of the Almighty Allah and to pray for the continuous peace and unity in the country.”
