Evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Handi Danbaki, has declared her readiness to face fellow contestant Ben in court, following his threat of legal action.
The dispute arises from Handi and her twin sister Wanni’s accusations of sexual assault against Ben during their time on the show.
In a recent interview with Classic 97.3 FM, Handi revealed that Ben had apologized for his actions during the show, which initially led her to drop the matter. However, she was surprised by his subsequent legal threats and remains steadfast in her accusation.
“I forgot about the issue because after the Saturday night party, he [Ben] came to my ear and said, ‘That’s not who I am, that’s not who I am,’” Handi explained. “He was crying in my ear, and I decided to drop the case. But he did do that. And I told him, you did what you did.”
Handi further expressed disappointment that she wasn’t provided with video evidence by Big Brother but remained confident in her experience. “I really wished Biggie had shown me the video, but I’m a woman, I know my body. I know when someone does something to me. I’m not a baby,” she said.
Reaffirming her stance, Handi added, “I will never claim someone did something to me if I’m not sure. I’m still standing my ground, but I chose to let it go. If he wants to take it legally, he should come, I’m ready for it.”
