Popular comedian and activist, Mr Macaroni, has filed a defamation lawsuit against Nollywood actor, Adams Kehinde, also known as Lege Miami, for making defamatory comments about him on social media.
The lawsuit seeks N50 million in damages.
Lege Miami shared the news of the lawsuit on Instagram while speaking in Yoruba, and told Falana and Falana’s Chambers, who issued the lawsuit that he was friends with Mr Macaroni and did not believe the skit maker meant any harm.
This lawsuit comes after Lege Miami criticized Mr Macaroni’s message to Nigerian youths and accused him of spreading false information.
The skit maker had pleaded with the youths to maintain their unity and avoid inciting intertribal conflict “who will always be friends.”
The lawsuit alleges that Lege Miami made defamatory statements about Mr Macaroni, including accusing him of misleading the public.
