Arsenal is on the verge of terminating Hector Bellerin’s contract ahead of the Spanish right-back’s imminent transfer to Barcelona.

Bellerin who spent last season on loan at Real Betis has reportedly agreed on personal terms on a transfer to Barcelona.

According to renowned sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano, the North London side are willing to terminate his contract at the Emirates Stadium.

The Spain international looks to have agreed on a move to Barca and is now just waiting for the green light from the Catalan giants in order for the deal to be fully finalised.

The 27-year-old started his career in Barca’s academy, and it seems he’s now set to join in what is likely to be a backup role, following Sergino Dest’s departure.

Bellerin is expected to sign a one-year contract with Barcelona without an option for a further season and the deal is subject to a medical.

“Hector Bellerín to Barcelona, here we go! Been told it’s all agreed, one year contract with NO option for further season. Bellerín will sign until June 2023 in the next hours.

“Medical scheduled, contract will be terminated by mutual consent with Arsenal,” Romano said.
