A lecturer at the Federal University Dutsinma in Katsina State, Dr. Tiri Gyan David, has been reportedly killed by bandits.
According to Channels, the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning at Dr. David’s residence in the Yarima Quarters, Low-Cost Estate, Dutsinma Local Government Area.
Eyewitnesses report that the bandits, armed with sophisticated weapons, invaded the community, firing shots to intimidate residents.
During the attack, two of Dr. David’s children were abducted.
The Katsina Police Command spokesman, Abubakar Sadiq, confirmed the incident and mentioned that a detailed statement would be released soon.
