Bayern Munich returned to the top of the Bundesliga on Saturday with a 4-2 home victory over Borussia Dortmund, marking a successful debut for new coach Thomas Tuchel.
Bayern was ahead 3-0 by the 25th minute thanks to an own goal from Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel and two poacher’s finishes from Thomas Mueller.
Bayern were up by two points after Kingsley Coman scored shortly after halftime, despite the fact that the visitors scored twice in the last minutes.
With the result, Bayern Munich top the league standings with 55 point in 26 games while Borussia Dortmund rank second with 53 points in 26 games.
