The Governor of Benue State, Hyacinth Alia, has named Mr Emmanuel Aboh as the new Auditor-General of the state.
Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Tersoo Kula, announced this in a statement on Friday.
Until his appointment, Aboh was the Director of Audit in the Office of the Auditor-General.
The statement said the appointment takes immediate effect.
It stated further that Aboh has three degrees – a master’s in development studies, a master’s in business administration, and a bachelor’s in accounting.
He belongs to several professional bodies, including Institute of Development Administration of Nigeria, Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.
