Benue State Government has set up a Management team that would manage the affairs of the recently established Benue Public Service Institute.
Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, made this known in a statement issued in Makurdi on Wednesday.
The Benue State Executive Council on January 10, approved the establishment of BPSI to serve as a training centre for all Civil Servants in the State.
In the statement, Alia approved the appointment of Prof Terkura Tarnande as Director General, S. I. Shimave, Director of Programmes and Cecilia Ohemu, Director of Administration and Finance.
Others were Dr. Mark Nyitse, Director of Research and Documentation and Mr. Moses Ode as the institute’s Librarian.
The statement added that the responsibility of the BPSI is to help develop Benue civil servants through strategic capacity building programmes.
