The military has received at least 49 fighters from the terrorist organization Jam’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihd, including two commanders, Ba’a Usman (Munzir) and Alhaji Ari (Nakib).

According to Zagazola, on November 20, 2022, the terrorists in Damboa turned themselves in to Operation Hadin Kai troops.

According to preliminary inquiry, the terrorists emerged from Sambisa forest, where they had been hiding and undertaking a terror campaign.

Recall that the Nigerian troops have so far accepted the surrender of no less than 90,000 militants, including both combatants and non-combatants as well as their families.

The sources, according to Emergency Digest, reported that the mass surrender had been brought about by ongoing attacks on the militants using both kinetic and non-kinetic methods.
