A popular Nigerian siger social activist, Charles Oputa on Saturday, berated the federal government led-administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Charly Boy who knocked Tinubu’s administration over the recently planned N8000 subsidy palliative for Nigerian poor homes, alleged that the eight-year tenure of former president Muhammadu Buhari looks better than the Tinubu’s sixty days in office.
Premium Politics reported earlier, that the $500m loan request sent to the National Assembly by President Tinubu, to enable his government share N8000 each to 12 million low-income earner households for 6 months as palliative to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal, has been approved by NASS.
However, in his reaction to the development via his Tweeter account on Saturday july 15, 2023, Charly Boy who wondered if there is any hope in the current administration, blasted the administration for committing N8,000 per month each for 12 million suffering masses and allocating N70 billion for National Assembly members who are less than 500.
“Can somebody help solve dis wahala.
“What kinda leadership will give us the suffering 12 million masses only 8k per month, and allocate to LawMakers wey no reach 500people 70 billion Naira.
“How come King Buhari’s 8yrs is looking better than Agbado’s
“60 days in office,” he wrote.
