This put them ahead 1-0 on the night and extended their aggregate advantage to 3-0. However, Servette fought back, with Jeremy Guillemenot equalizing before halftime, and Enzo Crivelli’s header with 20 minutes remaining made for a tense finale.
Chelsea were put under intense pressure in the closing stages, especially after Nicolas Jackson’s goal was ruled out for offside and Cole Palmer struck the bar.
Despite these close calls, the Blues managed to hang on, advancing with a 3-2 aggregate victory.
