The midfielder is set to sign a six-year deal, keeping him at the club until June 2030.
Olmo is likely to join his new teammates in training on Saturday when the full squad reunites after their American tour.
The transfer deal sees Barça paying RB Leipzig approximately €62 million, with €55 million upfront and an additional €7 million in potential bonuses.
