International Nigerian Singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, on Thursday evening lamented the low turnout to his Timeless concert in Abuja.
The Grammy nominee in a post on his social media platforms posted, ” Abuja be like you no wan do show”.
The post was shared alongside a video of the event venue which showed a scanty populated venue.
Several hours following Davido’s tweets, a multitude of concertgoers started arriving at the venue of the concert.
In October, the singer announced the culmination of his ‘Timeless’ world tour for 2023 in Nigeria, featuring three city concerts on December 14, 17, and 24.
The series of events will commence in the federal capital territory (FCT) and move to Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt, concluding at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos.
Davido’s fourth album, ‘Timeless’, was released on March 31 and reached the 37th position on the United States Billboard 200 chart on April 10. By August 3, ‘Timeless’ had achieved over one billion streams across major platforms.
