The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Musa has been appointed as the new commissioner of police in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
This development was revealed in a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, DSP Adeh Josephine.
She stated that DCP Musa, who was in charge of the police state Criminal Investigation Department of the command, took over from the former FCT police commissioner, Sadiq Abubakar, who will be proceeding to his new duty post, after his decoration as Assistant Inspector General of police by the Inspector General of Police.
According to her, the outgoing AIG, Sadiq Abubakar, who has been posted as a commandant of the Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, expressed appreciation to all officers of the command for their support and contributions, which earned the command the successes recorded during his term of duty.
