An alleged member of Eiye Confraternity has been reportedly killed by the rival cult Aiye Confraternity popularly known as ‘Black Axe in the presence of his daughter behind FARNET after JMJ in Auchi, Edo State.
This was made known in a post shared on social media.
It was learnt that the victim was killed in a seemingly reprisal attack.
It was also gathered that the members of the secret cult carried out the evil acts abadoned their Lexus car with weapons used when they were chased by a vigilante group.
This statement read, “An alleged Eiye member was eliminated by Aye members in the presence of his daughter.
The perpetrators arrived in a Lexus car, which they abandoned along with their weapons after being pursued by the vigilante.
“The Aye member named Emma, eliminated in Auchi on Monday, whose assailants were initially unknown, was indeed carried out by members of Eiye, as the events of yesterday was a retaliation for that attack.
“Auchi is now under curfew, as it is no longer deemed safe.”
However, no official statement has been made concerning the incident as at the time of filing this report.
