The Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Works, has diclosed that it will shut down the Third Mainland Bridge to traffic by 7am on Monday.

According to The PUNCH, this was disclosed in a statement on Friday by the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, Olukorede Keisha.

Keisha stated that the Federal Government has made necessary arrangements to undertake extensive repairs on the Bridge.

“In view of the above, the motoring public are hereby notified that all four ramps connecting Adekunle to TMB will be closed at the same going forward.

“Consequently, motorists are hereby advised to use alternative routes while cooperating with the traffic management officials deployed to manage traffic and ensure hitch-free movement”, the statement read.
