Tragedy as fire gutted some parts of Idumota market in Lagos Island on Wednesday morning.
In a video shared on social media and spotted by our correspondent, some shops were razed by the inferno while also spreading to the other parts of the building
A firefighting truck was seen making way to the scene of the incident to put out the raging fire.
Meanwhile, no official statement has been made to know the cause of the fire as at the of filing this report.
