Fire outbreak has been reported in a residential building in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State.
The fire gutted a building at Ilabere Road in the highbrow area of Nigeria’s commercial city.
The state Emergency Management Agency said they have activated their response plan to the said location.
“A combined team of agency LRT and the Lagos State Fire Service are taking immediate action to quell the residential fire which appears to be spreading rapidly to adjoining properties. Further updates to follow,” said the Permanent Secretary of LASEMA, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu.
