Early on Friday morning, a fire broke out inside the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Enugu zonal command.
According to Daily Trust, it was discovered that one of the command’s buildings was affected by the incident, which happened at around 12:30am in the morning.
A source at the command reported that a spike in the general public’s power supply caused the fire incident.
He claimed that the Enugu State Fire Service and Federal Fire Service worked together to eventually put out the ensuing blaze.
The commission’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, also verified the news.
No life was lost in the fire according to Uwujaren.
