A four-story building under construction in Abuja’s Lifecamp neighbourhood has reportedly fallen, trapping several people beneath its wreckage.
The event happened around 4 p.m., on a building site in the swampy Dape Area near the Berger Clinic.
Officials from the FCT Fire Service and the National Emergency Management Agency are said to be on the scene rescuing casualties from the collapsed structure.
The Head of Operations of the FCT Fire Service, Amiola Adebayo, while confirming the incident stated that rescue operations were still ongoing and that no casualties could be confirmed at this time.
