Fulham has announced that Tosin Adarabioyo will be departing the club this summer as his contract comes to an end. The 26-year-old is one of 11 players confirmed by the Cottagers to be leaving ahead of the next season.
Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, has confirmed that Adarabioyo has completed his medical with Chelsea and is poised to join the Blues.
“Fulham confirm Tosin Adarabioyo exit as a free agent… and Chelsea will soon complete the deal to bring him to the club. Medical tests, already completed,” Romano wrote.
This move will make Adarabioyo Chelsea’s first signing in the Enzo Maresca era, with the 6 foot 5 inch defender set to have the entire summer to work with the new manager.
Despite interest from other clubs such as Newcastle and Manchester United, Adarabioyo opted to join Chelsea.
Meanwhile, there is still hope for former Arsenal and Chelsea forward Willian, with Fulham revealing that they are in talks to offer him a new contract to keep him at the club beyond the summer.
Willian has become a fan favorite since joining in 2022, contributing ten goals and seven assists in 67 appearances.
