Galatasaray are reportedly preparing a record-breaking bid to sign Victor Osimhen permanently, following his impressive loan spell from Napoli.
The Nigerian striker made the switch to the Turkish giants after a proposed move to Chelsea fell through.
Since then, Osimhen has taken the Süper Lig by storm, netting 28 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions.
His goal-scoring exploits and passionate displays have quickly endeared him to the Galatasaray faithful, with the 25-year-old playing a pivotal role in the club’s push to defend their league crown and secure domestic cup glory.
Now, the club’s hierarchy is eager to make his stay in Istanbul permanent beyond the current campaign.
But Galatasaray will face stiff competition from top European clubs including Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, and wealthy Saudi teams.
According to Spanish outlet AS, as reported by Cumhuriyet, the Turkish champions are willing to submit a €70million offer to Napoli and hand Osimhen a lucrative three-year deal worth €15million net per season, along with performance-based bonuses.
The proposed salary is expected to match, if not surpass, the packages being offered by Premier League heavyweights.
