No fewer than four persons have been killed, one abducted, as gunmen have reportedly invaded and attacked the Gambar Sabon Layi community of the Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area, Bauchi State.
The PUNCH reported that, according to an anonymous source, the gunmen stormed the community on Saturday night, shooting sporadically into the air to scare residents away before carrying out their evil actions.
The kidnapped victim had been identified as, Daniel. The assailants killed the hamlet head of the area while four others were also killed in the process.
According to another resident of the area, Manasseh Danladi, he said, “Yes, the incident is true. On Saturday, some people came to our village and killed my uncle with four others while Mr Daniel was taken away.”
