Yemen’s Houthi rebels have reported that overnight airstrikes in Hodeida province resulted in four fatalities, attributing the attack to the United States.
“The casualty toll of the American aggression targeting the Water Management building in… Hodeida governorate… rose to four martyrs and three wounded,” said Houthi health ministry spokesman Anees Alasbahi, revising an earlier report of three deaths.
According to Houthi media, US airstrikes targeted multiple areas under the control of the Iran-backed group, including water infrastructure in Hodeida.
Additionally, three strikes were reported in the northwestern Hajjah region, while the rebels’ stronghold in Saada also came under attack.
The United States has not confirmed involvement in the strikes.
