The late Nigerian comedian and on-air personality Oluwatobi Owomoyela, popularly known as Peteru, has been buried.
It was reported that the late comedian died as a result of colon cancer at the age of 35.
In a latest development, his family has revealed that his remains has been buried.
In a statement issued by the family on Saturday, it was disclosed that Peteru has been laid to rest in a private ceremony.
The statement reads, “The owomoyela family will like to inform the general public and fans of Oluwatobi Owomoyela popularly known as ‘Peteru’ that he has been laid to rest in a private ceremony according to the wishes of the family.
“Thank you all for your support and prayers.
“Details for testimony/tribute night and any other program in his honour will be communicated to the general public. We want everyone to remember the family in their prayers.”
