The Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, on Thursday held a closed-door meeting with top police officers in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
It was reported that the meeting concerns the 2023 general elections, assault on policemen on duty, upcoming police retreat and conference and police games among other critical issues.
Deputy Inspectors General of Police, Assistant Generals of Police, and Commissioners of Police from the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory among other senior police officers are in attendance at the meeting.
