Nigerian International, Kelechi Iheanacho has been awarded Leicester City player of the season award for the just concluded 2022/2023 season.
This was announced by the club through its official website on Friday.
In 28 Premier League appearances, Iheanacho scored five goals and provided five assists.
He made 35 appearances and scored eight goals in all competitions for Leicester City last season.
His goals were unfortunately insufficient to help Leicester avoid relegation to the Championship.
Leicester was one of three teams relegated from the Premier League, along with Southampton and Leeds.
The 2015-2016 Premier League champions finished 18th in the final standings after 38 games.
