The Lebanese health ministry announced on Sunday that an Israeli drone strike killed one person in a vehicle in the southern village of Khiam.
This incident occurred amid what Israel described as pre-emptive strikes against the militant group Hezbollah.
According to the AFP, a statement from the health ministry, which was reported by the National News Agency, the “Israeli drone strike on a car in the village of Khiam” resulted in one fatality.
Later, the Amal movement, a group allied with Hezbollah, identified the deceased as one of their fighters from Khiam.
The health ministry further reported that two individuals, including a Syrian national, were injured in “a series of Israeli raids” in the region, as noted by the NNA.
