Another tweep while condemning the announcement of Jimmy to succeed his father, @ayoappeal tweeted, “using the family tragedies to justify the choice of Jimmy as the new Senior Pastor is just offside, isn’t it delibrate that most popular GO’S children are all pastors, do they all have callings?
“If the church is the church of God, what to associate pastors, cofounding pastors also taking over the ministry?”Let’s always toe the path of truth”
Also, @iamhawler, noted that there is nothing wrong if Jimmy steps into his father shoes wrote, “if the sons follow the father’s footstep is it a sin. Eli and samuel were men of God and one of our condemnation of them was that their children weren’t properly raised. If the board of directors deem it fit for the children to take over, who are we to question?”
In his own part@moabim noted that “If the church is the church of god and not a personal business enterprise what stops the most senior pastor after his dad from taking over. Abi the next in line no be god call am? So it is men Who now select for god and not the other way around?”
