Veteran actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo has declared that he will not celebrate his birthday as a result of how the presidential election was conducted and how it turned out.
The actor, who turns 61 on Wednesday, took to his Instagram page to announced this.
He wrote, “I am not celebrating my birthday today because INEC sold SHAME in the market. God bless you, my fans and well-wishers for your support and prayers.”
Insisting that there’s nothing to be happy about as the “heart of Nigeria bleeds”, the actor urged people to not celebrate him.
Recall that Premium Politics announced in the early hours of today that the APC Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu had been declared the winner of the recently conducted elections.
This is contrary to the wish and desires of the majority of Nigerians who insist that the elections wasn’t free and fair as the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.d), vowed.
The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, according to some Nigerians, including the actor, Kanayo, was supposed to be declared President.
