Ex-Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu is reportedly warming up to take over as the new Chairman/Sole Administrator of Enyimba Football Club of Aba.
Recall that the Abia State government had recently resolved the former board of the Peoples’ Elephant which was headed by Felix Anyasi.
Before the resolution, Felix had been my in charge of the team for 23 years.
He bagged the African Football Manager of the Year twice (2003, 2004) with the People’s Elephant, while also rewarded by the Nigeria Pitch Awards with the Manager of the Year gong in 2013 and 2015.
The club has won nine NPL titles and two CAF Champions League during his reign.
The Nigeria Premier League champions will compete in the CAF Champions League next season.
