Kidnapped mother of Kano APC senatorial candidate rescued by DSS

The operatives of the Department of State Service have rescued the abducted mother of the Kano Central Senatorial District candidate, A. A Zaura.
According to PUNCH, the aged mother, Hajia Laure Mai-Kunu was rescued by the DSS in Jigawa State
An unspecified number of unknown gunmen invaded Zaura town in Ungogo Local Government area of Kano State and kidnapped the mother of the All Progressive Congress senatorial candidate, on Monday.
The Chairman, Ungogo Local Government Area, Abdullahi Ramat, confirmed to The PUNCH on Tuesday that she had been rescued in Jigawa State.
Also, a top DSS operative, who declined his name in print, confirmed that their operatives rescued Laure and another aged woman, who was abducted for about 10 days
