The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, on Friday reappointed Aishat Yusuf as Senior Special Assistant Herdsmen Community Outreach.
A statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye, said the governor also approved the reconstitution of the state Muslim Pilgrims Board and Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board with top academic and community leaders appointed as chairmen of the boards.
A lecturer at the Kwara State University, Mashood Jimba, was appointed as the Chairman of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board while other members of the board are former commissioner for Energy, Hajia Fatimah Hassanah; Khadijat Abutawwiy; Abubakar Agbaje; Abibat Otuyo; and Musa Haruna Farikebe.
The Governor similarly reappointed a former chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in the state, Timothy Opoola as chairman of the state Christian Pilgrims’ Welfare Board and will be supported by Babatunde Alade, Kolo Philips, Bamigbola Idowu, Opeyemi Stephen, Oluwatoyin Opawoye and Pastor Oladipupo Emmanuel.
He also reappointed popular thespian Eyiwuni Muka Aramide (Muka Ray) as Senior Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism, a reward for his hard work and resourcefulness in his former role.
Mariam Nnafatima was also appointed as Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which signals the government’s renewed focus on issues of human capital development.
