A bride-to-be, identified as Haneefah Uma Samayyah, has reportedly killed herself after her groom-to-be suddenly took ill and died barely a week before their wedding in the Northern part of the country.
The wedding was planned for October 22, 2023. But the groom, Taofeeq Amaar, was said to have suddenly taken ill and sadly died a week prior and the wedding was cancelled on Saturday, October 14.
The bride then committed suicide on the same day.
The news of the demise of the lady was broken by her brother in a chat with the wedding planner, who shared the chat online, with advice to the public to take life easy.
The bride’s brother disclosed that they woke up in the morning to find that Hannefah had taken her own life, leaving behind a suicide note.
She supposedly went to bed with her father but didn’t get out of bed.
