The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Idowu Owohunwa, has assured Nigerians that the police will ensure that justice is served for the late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, popularly known as Mohbad.

The police chief stated this at the palace of Oba Ayangbure on Thursday.

While assuring the monarch of the commitment of the police to ensuring that the mystery behind Mohbad’s death was unravelled, he said “Under my watch, we will get to the depths of this case, clear all doubts, and bring every element involved remotely or directly to justice.

“The process has started and you can be confident that I will guide it,” he added.

Punch Metro reported on Thursday that the Lagos State Police has exhumed the remains of the late singer for autopsy.
