The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja has appointed Major General E S Buba the Director, Defence Media Operations of the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.
AIT reported that before his appointment, Major General E S Buba was the Director Foreign Liaison, Defence Intelligence Agency.
The Directorate, Defence Media Operations is coordinating joint information management on peacekeeping and other combat operations of the Nigerian troops as well as disseminating information on Armed Forces of Nigeria and other security agencies during special operations.
The redeployment in the Nigerian Army is routine, particularly with the recent retirement of some senior officers as a result of the appointment of the new military leadership. The redeployments take effect from 3 July 2023.
