The General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Daniel Olukoya, has been honoured with the 26th Gathering of Africa’s Best Platinum Award.
The prestigious award, presented at the Hilton London Kensington, recognizes Olukoya’s significant efforts in enhancing Africa’s image globally through philanthropy.
According to a statement shared on Saturday, the GAB Awards panel acknowledged Olukoya’s use of his influence and resources to elevate individuals and communities around the world.
Okutubo, the founder of the GAB, praised Olukoya as a man with “a heart of gold,” highlighting his unwavering dedication to transforming lives both physically and spiritually.
Okutubo also noted Olukoya’s commitment to supporting welfare initiatives aimed at assisting underprivileged communities.
He emphasized Olukoya’s efforts to combat unemployment and foster self-reliance by backing programs that empower people through vocational training, entrepreneurship, and financial support.
“Olukoya is also a steadfast advocate for academic excellence, providing scholarships that have opened doors for many young people to achieve their aspirations and make meaningful contributions to society,” Okutubo said.
The founder further recognized Olukoya’s significant contributions to science, especially his role as the first Nigerian to clone genes, alongside his extensive academic work, including numerous scientific publications.
Pastor Shade Olukoya, accepting the award on behalf of her husband, shared that their mission was to touch lives and make positive impacts, which align with the purpose of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries.
She added that her husband’s greatest joy lies in seeing others happy, in addition to his commitment to winning souls for Christ.
