Personnel of the Lagos State Police Command on Thursday exhumed the remains of late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji popularly known as Mohbad.
Heavy presence of police was noticed around the vicinity of the spot where he was buried.
The development has been confirmed by the Lagos State Police PPRO, “Benjamin Hundeyin, who tweeted, Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence”.
Mohbad was buried a day after he was reported death, however controversies surrounding his death has led to the Lagos State Police Command launching a formal investigation into his death.
Recall that his father stated that the late singer was hurriedly buried because of tradition.
According to him, Mohbad was buried quickly because he died young.
Punch Metro reported that Mohbad died on Tuesday at the age of 27.
PUNCH METRO reported that Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu had ordered the Department of State Services to join in probing the developments that followed the death of music star.
