Twitter’s Chief Executive Officer, Elon Musk, has reacted to comments by American rapper, Kanye West, on his (Musk’s) origin.
West, whose account is currently suspended on Twitter, had on Sunday, took to Instagram to theorise that the Tesla CEO could be half Chinese.
The 45-year-old rapper, in an awkward way of celebrating his colleague, Jay Z, as the latter marked 53 on Sunday, created speculations about the childhood of Musk, with claims that the billionaire business could be an “hybrid”.
“Am I the only one who thinks Elon could be half Chinese? Have you ever seen his pics as a child? Take a Chinese genius and mate them with South African super model and we have an Elon.
“I say an Elon because they probably made 10 to 30 Elons and he is the first genetic hybrid that stuck… Well let’s not forget about Obama,” he wrote.
The rapper captioned the Instagram post,”On Jay Zs birthday Future president of the United States Ye uses Mark Zuckerberg’s platform to incite a mass investigation of Elon Musk’s childhood photos in the midst of Balenciagagate I call this The theory of everything Problem solved Praise God.”
But reacting via a tweet on Monday, Musk said, “I take that as a compliment!” in his response to a tweet by Bias News about the Ye’s remark.
Hours later, Ye shared a screenshot of Musk’s Twitter reply on his Instagram page, which makes it his third post since October this year, with the caption, “It was meant as a compliment my friend Now Obama on the other hand …..”
On Thursday, a Twitter user asked Musk to “Fix Kanye Please.”
The 51-year-old responded by saying “I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended.” The rapper’s Twitter account was suspended thereafter.
